Florida Red is an early-season peach variety that grows well in Florida’s warm climate. It needs very little chilling to produce fruit and gives sweet, attractive peaches. This variety is perfect for home gardens and small orchards.

- Best planted from December to February, during dormancy.
- Prefers well-drained loamy soil with pH between 5.8 and 6.8.
- Requires full sun and chill hours around 250–300, suitable for plains and foothills.

- Medium-sized deciduous tree with upright growth.
- Begins fruiting in 3–4 years, with full productivity by 6–8 years.
- Responds well to pruning and training for canopy management.
